Lasagna (Lazania)

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
In a large pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the chopped onion until softened.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for a few more minutes.
Add ground beef to the pan and cook until browned.
Add tomato sauce, thyme, basil, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and let it simmer for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Cook lasagna sheets according to the package instructions, then place them in cold water and set aside.
Grease the bottom of a baking dish and spread a layer of meat sauce over it.
Place a layer of lasagna sheets over the meat sauce, then sprinkle with ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of mozzarella cheese on top.
Bake the lasagna for 45 minutes to an hour, until the cheese on top is golden and bubbly.
Remove the lasagna from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
