Spaghetti Amatriciana
"Experience a bold and fiery Italian-inspired classic, loaded with savory ham, earthy mushrooms, and a zesty tomato punch."
Instructions
Chop the onion and bell pepper into thin strips. Slice the ham and mushrooms thinly, and mince the garlic and hot peppers.
Fry the onion in a pan with 4 tablespoons of cooking oil. After a few minutes, add the minced garlic and hot peppers, and continue to sauté.
Add the mushrooms, ham, olives, and bell pepper to the pan, and continue to fry until the ingredients are soft and savory. Then, add the tomato paste mixed with half a cup of hot water.
Stir the mixture for three minutes over medium heat then reduce the heat.
In another pot, bring water with a bit of salt to a boil and cook the spaghetti for six minutes, then drain it. Add the drained spaghetti to the mixture and thoroughly combine everything.
Serve the prepared spaghetti in a deep dish and garnish with chopped parsley.
