Garlic & Onion White Pizza (Pizza-ye Sefid)
"Indulge in a sophisticated blend of pungent roasted garlic and sweet caramelized onions on a perfectly crisp, cheese-laden artisan crust."
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat thoroughly.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a baking tray or a pizza peel.
Brush the olive oil evenly over the surface of the dough, including the edges, to help create a golden, flavorful crust.
Sprinkle the minced garlic evenly over the oiled dough to form an aromatic base.
Spread the chopped tomatoes evenly across the pizza.
Scatter the grated mozzarella over the tomatoes, ensuring even coverage.
Arrange the onion rings on top of the cheese so they cook evenly.
Sprinkle the dried oregano or mixed herbs over the onions.
Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the crust is crisp and golden and the cheese is fully melted and gently bubbling.
Remove from the oven, season with salt and black pepper to taste, slice, and serve hot.
