Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly flour a clean work surface and roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness and shape.
Transfer the rolled dough to a baking tray or pizza stone. Brush the surface lightly with olive oil, then prick the dough several times with a fork to prevent bubbling during baking.
Pre-bake the crust for about 10 minutes, until it begins to set and feels slightly firm but not fully browned.
Remove the crust from the oven and season lightly with salt and black pepper.
Evenly sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the pre-baked crust, creating a generous, even layer.
Carefully crack the eggs over the cheese, spacing them evenly across the pizza and keeping the yolks intact.
Season the eggs lightly with additional salt and black pepper, then scatter the fresh basil leaves over the top.
Return the pizza to the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, until the edges are golden, the cheese is fully melted, and the eggs are cooked to your preferred doneness.
Remove from the oven, let rest for a minute or two, slice, and serve warm. Garnish with extra fresh basil if desired.
