Creamy Microwave Mashed Potatoes with Parsley

Instructions
Place the peeled potato chunks in a deep, microwave-safe dish with enough room to prevent boiling over.
Add the milk and butter, distributing them evenly over the potatoes.
Cover loosely with a microwave-safe lid or plate to allow steam to escape.
Microwave on full power (100%) for 15–20 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until the potatoes are very tender when pierced with a fork.
Remove carefully from the microwave and let the potatoes rest for about 5 minutes to cool slightly and absorb the liquid.
Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy. Stir in the heavy cream, then season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Adjust seasoning if needed and garnish with chopped parsley just before serving.
