Creamy Microwave Mushroom Soup
"Indulge in a velvet-smooth, gourmet mushroom bisque that delivers restaurant-quality richness with the effortless speed of microwave cooking."
Instructions
Place the butter in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on full power (100%) for about 30 seconds, until fully melted.
Add the chopped onion and mushrooms to the melted butter. Stir well, then microwave on 100% power for 2 minutes, until softened and fragrant.
In a separate deep microwave-safe container, whisk the milk, broth, and flour together until completely smooth and free of lumps.
Microwave the liquid mixture on 100% power for 4–6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until it begins to thicken slightly.
Stir the cooked mushrooms, parsley, salt, and black pepper into the thickened soup base. Microwave at 70% power for 5–8 minutes so the flavors meld evenly.
In a small bowl, mix the cream with a ladle of the hot soup to gently warm it. Stir this mixture back into the soup just before serving. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, then serve warm.
