Instructions
Place each chicken fillet between two sheets of plastic wrap and gently pound to an even thickness for uniform cooking.
Lay one slice of ham neatly over each fillet, trimming if necessary. Spread a small amount of mustard over the ham.
Fold each fillet in half to enclose the filling, pressing lightly to seal.
In a shallow bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and grated cheese until well combined.
Dip each stuffed fillet first into the beaten egg, then coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb-cheese mixture.
