Mediterranean-Style Vegetable Pizza (Pizza-ye Sabzi)
"Experience a garden-fresh symphony of Mediterranean flavors atop a perfectly golden, herb-infused crust."
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats for best crust texture.
In a small bowl, combine the tomato sauce with dried oregano or marjoram, garlic powder, olive oil, and a pinch of black pepper. Taste and add salt only if needed.
Prepare the vegetables by finely chopping the onion, slicing the mushrooms, chopping the green pepper, and dicing the tomato. Set aside.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your preferred thickness and shape.
Spread the seasoned tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
Sprinkle the grated pizza cheese evenly over the sauce.
Distribute the prepared vegetables evenly over the cheese for balanced flavor in every bite.
Carefully transfer the pizza to the hot oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 2–3 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
