Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly flour a work surface, roll out the pizza dough to fit your pan, and carefully transfer it. Drizzle lightly with extra virgin olive oil and gently spread to coat the surface.
Season the tomato sauce with salt and black pepper, mixing until smooth. Spread a thin, even layer over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
Bake the pizza for 15 minutes, allowing the crust to begin setting and firming up.
Remove from the oven and evenly distribute slices of fresh mozzarella over the sauce.
Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10–13 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and the crust turns lightly golden.
