Orange-Glazed Skillet Chicken Breast
"Transform humble chicken into a vibrant, restaurant-quality masterpiece featuring a glossy citrus reduction and warm aromatic notes of fresh ginger and garlic."
Instructions
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides evenly with salt and black pepper.
In a bowl, whisk together the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, and orange zest until smooth and well combined.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the chicken breasts.
Cook the chicken for 6–8 minutes per side, turning once, until golden brown and cooked through.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and carefully pour the orange sauce into the skillet around the chicken.
Simmer gently for 5–7 minutes, spooning the sauce over the chicken, until the sauce thickens to a glossy glaze.
Transfer the chicken to serving plates and spoon the warm orange sauce over the top. Serve immediately.
