Safe & Simple Mixed Grill with Chicken
"Master the art of the backyard barbecue with a foolproof guide that prioritizes peak flavor and impeccable food safety."
Instructions
Before starting, clean and disinfect all work surfaces, utensils, and cutting boards. Dry thoroughly with clean kitchen towels or paper towels.
Wash your hands with warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds, especially after handling raw meat or poultry.
Keep meat, chicken, salad, and all perishable foods refrigerated until just before grilling. When cooking outdoors, store them in a cooler to maintain safe temperatures.
Prepare the grill over medium heat. If using charcoal, light enough charcoal for the entire cooking time and wait until it is fully ignited and red-hot.
Ensure the chicken is fully pre-cooked before placing it on the grill. Grill briefly to develop a flavorful exterior and pleasant texture, while keeping foods within the safe temperature range of 4°C to 60°C.
If food begins to burn, move it to a cooler area of the grill, raise skewers, or slightly reduce the heat to promote even cooking.
Transfer cooked foods immediately to a clean serving dish. Never place cooked items on surfaces that previously held raw food.
Serve grilled foods right away or keep them warm at 60°C or higher. Refrigerate leftovers promptly and reheat thoroughly before eating.
