Saffron-Butter Microwave Whole Chicken

Instructions
Place the butter in a deep, microwave-safe dish. Add the finely grated onion, saffron, salt, and black pepper, then gently mix to combine.
Microwave the mixture uncovered at full power (100%) for 2 minutes, allowing the onion to soften and the saffron to bloom and release its aroma.
Thoroughly coat the whole chicken with the warm butter-onion mixture, making sure it is evenly covered on all sides. Return the chicken to the dish and cover with a microwave-safe lid.
Microwave the chicken at 100% power for 10–15 minutes so it begins to cook and absorb the flavors.
Carefully remove the dish, turn the chicken over for even cooking, and cover again.
Return to the microwave and cook for an additional 15–20 minutes at 60% power, until the chicken is fully cooked, tender, and the juices run clear.
