Savory Mushroom & Beef Pizza
"Indulge in a rustic, umami-packed masterpiece featuring a whisper-thin crust and the perfect harmony of earthy mushrooms and savory beef."
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). Lightly grease a large baking sheet and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until lightly golden, breaking it up with a spoon as it browns.
Stir in the chopped onion, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano. Sauté until the onion softens and the mixture becomes aromatic. Remove from heat.
Roll out the pizza dough on the prepared baking sheet to a thin, even layer about 2–3 mm thick.
Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
Sprinkle a light layer of mozzarella cheese over the sauce to help anchor the toppings.
Evenly distribute the cooked beef mixture over the pizza, then scatter the chopped mushrooms on top.
Finish with the remaining mozzarella, covering the toppings evenly.
Bake on the middle or lower oven rack for about 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is fully melted and lightly browned.
Remove from the oven and allow the pizza to rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
