"Experience the perfect crunch and a zesty citrus punch in this 30-minute gourmet chicken dish that brings restaurant-quality flavors to your home kitchen."
Instructions
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the crushed garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant, about 20–30 seconds, without letting it brown.
Stir in the lemon juice, water, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a gentle boil, simmer for 1 minute, then remove from heat and set aside.
In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, a pinch of salt, and the hot pepper sauce until evenly combined.
Pat the chicken filets dry, then coat each one thoroughly in the flour mixture, pressing lightly so the coating adheres well.
Heat a thin layer of oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the coated filets until golden on both sides and almost cooked through, about 3–4 minutes per side.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Transfer the fried chicken filets to an oven-safe dish.
Drizzle the prepared garlic-lemon sauce evenly over the chicken. Bake for 5 minutes to finish cooking and allow the flavors to meld.
Serve hot, spooning extra sauce from the dish over the chicken before serving.
