Persian cuisine is one of the world's oldest and most sophisticated culinary traditions, stretching back over 5,000 years. Built on a foundation of saffron, dried limes, barberries, and fresh herbs, it celebrates the balance of sweet, sour, and savory in every dish. From the elaborate rice dishes (polo) to the slow-cooked stews (khoresh), Persian cooking is an art form passed down through generations.
